Hello, I'm Josh Grigg. I'm a Product Manager and UX Designer on the sunny Central Coast of Australia, where I help teams build products people actually want to use.
I believe great products start with understanding real user problems, not assumptions. My approach combines user-centred design principles with first principles thinking to get to the root of problems before jumping to solutions.
I work best in collaborative, cross-functional environments where product managers, designers, engineers, and stakeholders come together to solve complex problems. I conduct user research, facilitate workshops, and use data to validate decisions and measure outcomes.
What drives me is seeing measurable impact. Whether it's reducing job completion time by 50%, increasing user satisfaction, or decreasing support calls, I focus on outcomes that matter to both users and the business. I believe in shipping iteratively, learning fast, and always questioning our assumptions.
My background spans both technical and business contexts, which helps me bridge the gap between what users need, what's technically feasible, and what makes business sense. I'm comfortable with ambiguity, trade-offs, and the messy reality of building products in the real world.
Outside of work, I enjoy the craft of gemstone cutting and lapidary, growing my own food, and tinkering with personal projects that solve problems I encounter in daily life. I'm always learning, always curious, and always looking for better ways to make technology work for people.
